IMPA Industry Survey 2026

The IMPA Industry Survey 2026 aims to capture the current state, challenges, and future direction of marine purchasing worldwide.
This survey is strictly open to marine purchasers only — specialised procurement professionals responsible for sourcing, purchasing, and arranging the delivery of spare parts, technical equipment, supplies, and provisions for ships and maritime operations. It should take no more than 15 to 20 minutes to respond to all questions.
We are asking marine purchasers a series of questions covering:
● The structure and maturity of purchasing functions ● Key projects and strategic priorities ● Sustainability and ESG integration ● Digitalisation and AI adoption ● Regulatory and geopolitical challenges ● Recruitment, retention, and competence development ● Supplier management and collaboration ● Future outlook and industry initiatives
Preliminary results will be presented during the Opening Session at IMPA Hamburg 2026, with final results unveiled at IMPA London 2026.

All eligible marine purchasers who complete the survey may choose to leave their contact details at the end to enter a draw for three £50 Amazon vouchers (three winners selected at random). Contact details will be used only for the prize draw and will not be linked to responses. No individual participant will be identified in the survey results.
